Acceptable use and AI disclosure

What you may advertise with AdFace, what our automated checks refuse, and how to disclose that an ad was generated with AI.

Last updated September 15, 2026

1. Principles

AdFace renders ads that look like a person recommending a product. That format earns attention, which is exactly why it must not be used to mislead. Two rules follow from it: say only what is true about your product, and never imply that a real person endorsed it when they did not.

2. Content we refuse

Do not use AdFace to generate ads that contain:

  • Medical claims about curing, treating or preventing disease.
  • Guaranteed or risk-free financial returns, including trading and crypto promises.
  • Guaranteed weight loss, body-shaming pressure or unsafe diet advice.
  • Hate, harassment or demeaning content about people or groups.
  • Sexual content, and any depiction of minors in a sexual or suggestive context.
  • Endorsements attributed to a real, identifiable person who has not agreed to them.
  • Illegal, restricted or counterfeit products, or services you are not licensed to provide.
  • Deceptive pricing, fake urgency, invented reviews or fabricated test results.

3. Likeness and impersonation

Presenters in the AdFace library are synthetic. Do not present them as real customers, employees, doctors or experts.

If you bring your own footage or voice, you must hold written permission from the person it belongs to, and you must not use AdFace to recreate the face or voice of a public figure.

4. AI disclosure

Ads made with AdFace are synthetic media. Every major platform requires you to label them, and the labelling duty sits with you as the advertiser.

  • Use the platform's own AI-generated content control when you upload, on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, YouTube and any other network that offers one.
  • Keep any provenance metadata and visible label that we attach to a render.
  • Do not remove, crop out or blur the trial watermark; upgrade the plan instead.
  • Where local advertising rules ask for a visible mention, add it to your caption or end card.

5. Automated checks and review

Every script is screened before rendering, and a script that matches a refused category is blocked with the category named. Screening is automated and imperfect: it blocks some acceptable copy and can miss a violation, and it never substitutes for your own legal review.

We may review the content of a workspace when we investigate abuse, a provider complaint or a legal request.

6. You remain the advertiser

You are responsible for the claims in your ads, for substantiating them, for the rules of your industry and your market, and for the terms of the platform you publish on. AdFace is a production tool, not an advertising clearance service.

7. Reporting abuse

If you see an ad made with AdFace that breaks this policy, write to abuse@adface.ai with a link or a copy of the ad. We look into every report.

8. Enforcement

Depending on what we find, we may refuse a generation, remove content, revoke a share link, suspend a workspace, or close an account. Serious cases are reported to the competent authorities.

Credits spent on content we remove for a policy breach are not refunded.
